Last Friday, on the day of Richards Bay Christain Schools farewell (of which i didn't know) happened. In the morning a determended lady contacted me to take photos of her son and his date. not a great fan of short notice, but i quickly remember back in the day what i used to tell myself, 5 minute rule.
When I was still learning the ropes as a graphic designer in a well known local marketing firm, it was my 5 minutes designs that edged out over my 1 hour blood sweat and tear masterpiece.
I took to the trend and started to impliment more crutial featur that jumb to my mind first. this was a winning recipe.
WIth Tendai's shoot, iI immiediately did the same. I just took it on knowing that whatever vibe pops into my mind at that time, i will use. And ofcourse that is what it should be like anyway.
I think one gets carried away when you try to puncture the big boy market. and you think you streamline yourself. but you;re not. some of us photographer have this creative abillity, and some others actually started out as designer. so our eyes are set to good composition.
